T-Mobile tries to woo iPhone users with $200 bounty

During the "Magenta Deal Days", T-Mobile will give customers $200 for their iPhone, $100 for an Android-powered phone, and $50 for any other brand of mobile phone, assuming it still works. All trade-in offers are contingent on signing a two-year agreement and purchasing a new 4G smartphone on the T-Mobile network. T-Mobile does not sell iPhones.T-Mobile's USA senior vice president of marketing John Clelland said that no matter the age of the phone, no matter the value, T-Mobile offers the guaranteed trade in value to facilitate signing a contract with T-Mobile. It is not known what T-Mobile intends to do with the traded-in devices.

The Magenta Deal Days offer starts on April 25 and continues through May 8.
