CrushFTP has released a sixth edition of its self-titled file transfer server software. The platform handles FTP/SFTP, HTTP, and WebDAV traffic. New in CrushFTP 6 is an overhauled GUI, which is not only said to be more "modern," but entirely web-based for tasks such as administration, jobs, reports, and preferences. Also new are some enterprise-only features, such as real-time sync across several machines, and POP3/IMAP attachment monitoring. The web interface is capable of playing movies and MP3s without leaving the browser, and users can now share files and folders without temporary links. In-stream PGP encryption and decryption can take place per-folder in the VFS, and searches are newly indexed, generating faster results. Multiple administrators can work on a server simultaneously.

Regular licenses start at $40 for 10 users, and scale up to $100 for unlimited users. Special enterprise licenses provide bonuses such as extra tech support and free updates; these range in cost between $1,000 and $5,000, not including maintenance renewal.
