Voyager S3 USB3 SuperSpeed SATA drive dock ships

Newer Technology and its exclusive distributor Other World Computing have teamed up to deliver the latest in Newer Tech's dock series- the Voyager S3 USB3 SuperSpeed SATA drive dock. This new dock delivers full SATA2 speeds, and approaches full SATA3 speed.The Voyager S3 supports either 3.5-inch desktop hard drives or 2.5-inch laptop hard drives. Any SATA drive may be installed, but full speed is attained with a SATA3 drive. The case measures 5.28 inches wide by 3.7 inches deep, with a height of 2.68 inches without a drive installed.

Windows XP, NT, 2000, and Vista are supported, and any Macintosh OS from 8.6 and on is also supported. Any USB connection may be used to connect to the dock, but the full 500MB per second speed is only obtained from a USB3 connection. The unit sells for $40 exclusively from OWC.
