Dane-Elec unveiled the first products in the Pro Sport USB3 line today. The red 8GB, 16GB blue, and 32GB black USB3 flash drives will be available on Amazon in late May. The Pro Sport flash drive boasts speeds up to 80MB/sec read and 30MB/sec write when plugged into a USB3 host connection.Microsoft courting iCloud users with iOS incompatible video

Microsoft's SkyDrive is positioning itself as a competing product to Apple's iCloud in a recent email to iOS users. Offering similar file format support to iCloud, SkyDrive's offer is enhanced by file sharing and collaboration similar to Google Docs. Additionally, the Silverlight video (unviewable by iOS devices) also boasts a colleague-shareable Microsoft or OneNote note-sharing service.


Steve Jobs Mac on Lap photo litho shipping now

Celebrity photographer Norman Seeff has made his classic photo of Steve Jobs, entitled "Mac on Lap," available for purchase. The image was featured on the cover of Time Magazine in October of 2011. The numbered and photographer-signed versions of the lithographic reproduction are sold out, but unsigned copies are still available for sale at Seeff's website.
