Last week Apple, to much fanfare, opened up ticket sales to their World Wide Developers Conference, WWDC. The event, where tickets were $1600, sold out in an astonishing two hours. This beat the impressive 8 hour sellout that they achieved in 2010. With a limited supply of tickets available and the velocity that Apple has in the developer community, there was little doubt that the event would sell out and do so quickly but everyone was surprised by the two hour mark.
