A new version of Netflix's iOS app featuring an updated user interface has been released in the App Store. Version 2.2 includes a new scrub bar that is easier to control, along with a modified subtitles button that reflects changes made to the web based player and a new button for switching between alternate language soundtracks when available. In addition, the update includes a number of general improvements such as the ability to restrict streaming to WiFi and to enable or disable sharing files and shows via Facebook.Additional Nikon camera support added to DSLR Camera Remote

onOne Software has launched an update for its DSLR Camera Remote software, a tool that allows photographers to remotely fire and control Nikon and Canon cameras from an iOS device. The update builds upon existing DSLR support with the addition of support for Nikon's D800, D800E, and D4, bringing the total number of supported cameras up to 29. An issue with some newer Canon cameras not connection to Windows servers has also been resolved, along with a problem where images were incorrectly rotated on Nikon cameras. DSLR Camera Remote is sold in both iPhone ($20) and iPad ($50) versions through the App Store.
