Six new Epson PowerLite projectors unveiled

The Epson PowerLite-series projectors has been dramatically expanded with six new models added to the line. The new models are optimized for medium-sized boardrooms, classrooms, and churches. Two of the models can also be controlled remotely via iOS or Android apps.The Powerlite 1940W model includes a WXGA (1280x768) widescreen resolution with 4200 lumens of color and white output. The 1945W is the same as the 1940W, but with the addition of iOS app control. Powerlite 1950 has a 4500-lumen brightness with an XGA (1024x768) display.

The 1955 Powerlite displays a XGA display and included split-screen usage of multiple feeds. A 5000-lumen display rounds out the Powerlite 1960, also with a XGA display. The 1965 model likewise carries an XGA display, but has a 5000-lumen color/white output and includes the ability to control the device using a mobile devices.

All units are available in May. Pricing varies from $1,299 for the 1940W to $1,899 for the PowerLite 1965.
